Four days to relive the glorious centuries of antiquity in Rome, to discover the architectural and artistic treasures of the eternal city.
Let’s start from Vatican City, the smallest state in the world, and its splendid St. Peter’s Basilica, with the magnificent Bernini colonnade.
We will visit the Vatican museums, which exhibit works of immense historical and artistic value, with the famous Sistine Chapel. We will then proceed to Castel S. Angelo, and then we will move to Piazza Venezia, considered the central core of the eternal city with the monument dedicated to Vittorio Emanuelle II, the altar of the Fatherland and Piazza del Campidoglio.
From here we will move to the area of the Imperial Fora up to the Colosseum, the symbol of Rome.
We will continue towards the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, where you can experience the legend of the Mouth of Truth, inserting your hand inside it: if you lie, it will be swallowed up.
You cannot miss a walk in Via del Corso, famous for its shops and restaurants.
From here you can easily reach the beautiful Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna. From here, climbing up its Trinità dei Monti steps, you arrive at the Pincio, the third largest park in the city.
From the Belvedere terrace we can admire Piazza del Popolo, with the Basilica of Santa Maria del Popolo with works by Caravaggio, Pinturicchio and other artists.
To have a different eye on the city, we will board a boat on the Tiber for a cruise, to admire the landscape of the city from a unique point of view.
Departure and goodbye beautiful Rome.
